Refund, Return, & Cancellation policy

At BGA Jewelry we value transparency, integrity, and making sure you feel cared for every step of the way. Below is everything you need to know about returns, cancellations, refunds, and exchanges. Please read carefully before placing your order. 

✧ Returns & Exchanges (Non-Custom Items)

We accept returns or exchanges on non-custom items within 7 days of delivery, if the item meets all eligibility criteria:

To be eligible:

  • Item must be unworn, unused, and returned with all original packaging (tags, jewelry pouch, gift box, polishing cloth, etc.)

  • You must provide proof of purchase (order number, full name, shipping address, and phone number used at checkout)

  • Once approved, we’ll send a prepaid return label via email

⚠ Items purchased during sales or using promo/coupon codes are Final Sale and not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.

✧ Returns & Exchanges (Custom Items)

Custom pieces are made just for you, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.

This includes:

  • Custom name jewelry

  • Personalized designs

  • Made-to-order requests

If your custom item arrives damaged or incorrect:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery

  2. Email support@blackgirlaestheticjewelry.com

    • Subject: Custom Order Issue + Your Order #

    • Include: Full name, address, phone number, clear photos of the issue, and a brief description

We’ll gladly work with you to make it right.

⚔ All custom pieces are covered under our 3-month limited warranty for manufacturing defects.

✧ Cancellations (Non-Custom Items)

Changed your mind? No problem — as long as your order hasn’t shipped yet.

Cancellation Eligibility:

  • Must be requested before the shipping label is created

  • If the label was created and shipping was paid, your refund will be issued minus shipping cost

  • If your order included free shipping, no deduction will be made

To request a cancellation:

If your order has already shipped, you’ll need to wait for it to arrive and request a return within 7 days.

✧ Cancellations (Custom Items)

Custom pieces go into production fast, so cancellations are time-sensitive.

Cancellation Timeline for Custom Orders:

  1. Within 24 hours: Eligible for full refund

  2. After 24 Hours but before 72 hours: Eligible for refund minus 30% cancellation fee

    • This covers custom design, materials, and production already allocated

    • Fee is based on the product total (not including shipping)

  3. After 72 hours: The order is in full production and can no longer be canceled or refunded

To cancel your custom order:

✧ Refund Eligibility

For Non-Custom Items:

To qualify for a refund:

  • Must be within 7 days of delivery

  • Item must be unworn, unused, with all original packaging

  • You must provide proof of purchase

Once approved:

  • You’ll receive a prepaid return label via email

  • After we inspect the return, refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 business days

  • Your bank may take additional time to post the refund

If it’s been more than 15 business days since your return was approved and you haven’t received your refund, please contact us.

If Your Return is Not Approved:

If your item is returned ineligible — for example:

  • Worn, damaged, or used

  • Missing original packaging or extras

  • Received without prior approval

Then one of the following will occur:

  • The item will be returned back to you

  • Or, if you do not arrange return shipping within 7 days, it may be considered forfeited

We’ll always reach out first with photos and an explanation before taking any final action.

For Custom Items:

Due to the personalized nature of custom pieces, they are not eligible for refunds once the cancellation window has passed. Please double-check all details before submitting your order.

✧ Returns Must Be Approved First

Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.
Unidentified or unapproved packages may:

  • Be refused or discarded

  • End up in USPS Lost & Found

  • Be held for 7 days before being considered forfeited

⚠ We are not liable for any packages sent without consent, including those that are lost, misdelivered, damaged, or discarded due to incorrect return procedures.
